Ricola Herb Garden / Zermatt
The day after we arrived in Zermatt, we hiked to the Ricola Herb Garden with our friends from Germany. The hike up took us underneath the cable car lines and was quite steep and rocky in places. We discovered a much nicer and more gradual trail for the hike back to town. Next time, we will take this trail up :)
We had a lovely rest outside at the Bergrestaurant Blatten just below the gardens.

Just down from the Ricola garden on the trail to town is a day camp.
